2008 Walk Now for Autism – Pittsburgh 12,000 Walkers Join 9th Annual Pittsburgh Walk Now for Autism On Saturday, June 7, 12,000 people walked at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Penn. for the 9th annual Pittsburgh Walk Now for Autism, over a thousand more participants than at last year's event. The walkers, on nearly 490 teams, have raised over $814,000 and the total is expected to surpass the million dollar mark.
